5 Oct 2006 - SQSAC obtain a Sports Scotland Grant Award

After a few months of hard work Ronnie Mackenzie managed to get a Grant of £5000 from Sports Scotland to allow us to purchase new Club Equipment for use by our members.
The money will be spent on 4 sets of kit. 4 Drysuits, Thinsulate undersuits, BC's, Valves, Hoods and Gloves. All will be in 'Small' sizes to fit our younger members.
We will also purchase a new cover for the Club Boat, Two new Emergency Oxygen Sets . and a New Chart Chip for the GPS which will allow us to navigate in safety further offshore.
This is a great boost to our already extensive stock of Club Kit, well done to Ronnie for all his hard work.s
