20 Apr 2007 - REDS - Regional Expedition 2007
The BSAC REDS is the Regional Expedition Scheme which runs every year, a grant is available for a suitably 'adventurous, or demanding' Expedition .This year from SQSAC Stevie and Warren are on this Expedition, Howard and Laura have also taken part in these expeditions in previous years.

BSAC describe REDS :- "These are adventurous diving expeditions and exploration at a regional level. They are typically inter-branch activities and may complement branch diving expeditions by promoting expeditions which benefit from the experience of others. Such expeditions are particularly valuable for the development of potential First Class Divers as they enable candidates to be exposed to a wide range of techniques and attitudes." hmmmm
Anyway this Trip has been organised by Max Ruffert from E-Divers , based on Seil Island,near Oban, and Diving from the' Peregrine', the plan is to expore some undived Pinnacles between 18 and 50m, and to do some Fast Drift Dives, namely the 'A1' and the 'Grey Dogs' near Corryveckan, a full report to follow when they return.
Hopefully we can locate some new sites and run a Club Trip up there this year.
